Bio

Jaime Lowe is an award-winning writer, photographer and artist. A former model, she spent 13 years in the industry before quitting to pursue work on the other side of the lens. She earned her B.S. in Photojournalism from Boston University and her MFA in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College where she studied photography under Joel Sternfeld.

Her writing and photographic work have been featured in the New York Times, the Village Voice, WIRED and Slate, among others. Her photos have been exhibited nationally and internationally. 

In 2015, she won the Missouri Review’s Miller Audio Prize. In 2010, she won the NPPA’s Women in Photojournalism Award.
